START OF THE YEAR in 3/4C

WELCOME  TO  OUR NEW  YEAR.

We have had a great start to the New Year in 3/4/C. Lots of talking, teasing, joking and some serious discussions about rules, procedures and expectations.

We welcomed Maddie to our class this year and she tells us that she feels quite at home already!

As well as the normal reading, writing, maths, visual artwork and computer exploration we have nearly completed our swimming instruction for this year…..only two more days to go!  Our Yr. 4 students are busily preparing to celebrate The Sacrament of Reconiliation in March.

Literacy  News,  Our class novel for the start of the year is…’Charlotte’s Web. To coincide with this study we have been making our own spider webs in Art. For some of us this was a challenge!!!! But like we learnt…we kept on trying.   Mums and Dads, friends, do call in to have a look at our efforts. We are very proud of them.

INQUIRY. We are planning a great excursion to support our unit of study relating to our local community and its history.  So do call in and have a chat to see if you can assist.
